Betterment Levy Calculator

Use the Betterment Levy Calculator to estimate the levy according to the realization event and the details of the plans that increased the property’s value. Select a realization event—sale of the property, receipt of a building permit, or commencement of use—and enter the realization date. Then add one or more betterment events, such as zoning plan approval, an easement, or exceptional use. For each event, enter the determining date, the property value before and after approval, and the CPI increase through realization. The result includes a total estimate and a breakdown by plan.
